What is KickHub, and where can I play?
KickHub is a pickup football platform in Bangkok and Bali. You book a spot as an individual, turn up, and play, with no team and no season required. In Bangkok, games run across venues including POLO Football Park, OASIS, Hybrid Football Field and Soccer Pro, with full 11-a-side games at Hybrid. In Bali, games run at The Kick Off Arena in Canggu. More than 3,500 players have registered, from more than 120 nationalities. All levels are welcome.
How much does it cost to play?
In Bangkok, a game is 280 THB per player with PromptPay, or 300 THB by card. In Bali, a game is 172,000 IDR per player, around 10 USD. You pay online through the KickHub app when you book, so there is no cash to sort out on the day. There is no membership and no minimum number of games, so you pay only for the games you play. Some venues and formats have their own rate, and late bookings are priced higher, so the exact price is always shown in the app before you confirm.
Can I get a refund if I cancel?
Yes, within the cancellation window. Cancel at least 12 hours before kick-off and we apply a game credit to your profile, which you can use on any future game. Inside 12 hours the spot is no longer credited. You can still pass your spot to another player — email ludovic@kickhub.app and we will move it across. If KickHub cancels a game, a game credit is applied to your profile within 24 hours. Credits have no cash value and we do not issue cash refunds.
What happens if the game is cancelled?
If we cancel a game — bad weather, or not enough players — a game credit is applied to your profile within 24 hours, and you can use it on any future game. You never lose the money, and booking early carries no risk.
What skill level are the games?
Our games are open to all levels, from complete beginners to semi-competitive players. Teams are mixed on the day to keep things balanced, so you will not be the only newcomer and you will not have to carry a game on your own. If you can run and kick a ball, you are welcome. The small-sided format helps: on a 7-a-side pitch everyone gets plenty of touches, and individual mistakes are forgotten within seconds. Most people come as much for the community as the football, so there is no pressure to perform.
How many players are in each game?
Most games are 7-a-side, with 11-a-side games at Hybrid Football Field. Squads are capped so everyone gets minutes. Spots are limited, so it is worth booking early. Small-sided football keeps the pace high and means everyone gets plenty of touches; the 11-a-side games at Hybrid are played on a full-size synthetic pitch.
What do I need to bring?
Just bring yourself and something to play in. Football boots or trainers both work, as the pitches are astroturf. In Bangkok, every game includes a pro match ball, bibs, water, electrolytes, goalkeeper gloves and music on the pitch. In Bali, at The Kick Off Arena, every game includes a pro match ball, bibs and water. If you need boots, you can rent a pair through the app when you book. Arrive about 10 minutes early so teams can be sorted before kick-off. You do not need a matching kit or any prior experience.
How long does each game last?
Each session runs for 60 minutes of playing time. Arrive a few minutes early for warm-up and team allocation.
What is the Game Pass?
The Game Pass lets you buy game credits in bulk at a discount. Use credits to book any game instantly, with no payment needed each time.
How do I create my player card?
Sign up, go to your profile Settings tab, and customize your player attributes. The more games you play, the more points you earn to boost your stats.
